About Us...

Safe Environment

The Dad Battle Crew

Safe Environment

The safety of our campers remains the #1 priority at Bocamb. Our staff are regularly updated on their background checks and diocesan training, and the same goes for every adult/parent that volunteers. Fr Jacob DuMont is our safe environment liaison and can be reached at 708 846 4928.

Bocamb Farm

The Dad Battle Crew

Safe Environment

Thanks to the generosity of the LeBlanc family, Bocamb farm has hosted Conquest and Challenge camps and weekend retreats since 1997, developing into a fully equipped youth camp. Between the cabins and main house there is capacity for up to 54 minors and 12 adult staff.

The Dad Battle Crew

Argentus is an ongoing story. In the same tradition as Arcātheos, the boys are immersed in the legend that demands their acting with virtue, not just hearing about it. And every dad willingly dresses up as the enemy to have a decent sword fight with his son anyway. Contact Jay Dardis to join the fray at 225 362 4469.

Fr Jaime Lorenzo LC | Camp Director

I come from Manila, in the Philippines, and am the newest member of the Louisiana youth team. I've worked for years as an ECYD coordinator in Venezuela and Rome Italy and just got ordained a priest this September!

Fr Greg Usselmann LC | ECYD Director

Born and raised in St Louis. Ordained a legionary priest in 2010, but was coordinating youth ministry already ten years before that as a seminarian; exercised ministry in the Ohio Valley, Texas A&M, and New England until my arrival to Louisiana and Camp Bocamb in the summer of 2015.

Brandon Lyne | Mission Staff

I was born in Maryland and lived there until Senior year, when I moved to Georgia. I've been involved in ECYD and Regnum Christi since 8th grade. since then, I have attended and led many RC activities, including serving as an ECYD missionary in 2018. Feeling called to form other young men in the same way that I was formed, to truly love Christ and aspire to be his friend, I have chosen to give the next year of my life to Him as a missionary.

Luke Christopherson | Mission Staff

Born  in Houston and  raised in Toledo, Ohio.  Luke  has been involved in Regnum Christi for as long as he can remember.  Throughout his life Luke has attended several camps and retreats that have greatly impacted him. While attending a retreat put on by past missionary, Luke was moved by the example and energy that they had and wanted to be just like them. He as decided to give a mission year here in Louisiana and hopes to be that same light for the souls that he will be working with.
